I've had this for a little less than a week and wow.. the RGB is stunning. Haven't had any issues with it :)
The Marsback M1 is a great keyboard.
The quality of the CNC machined polycarbonate case is good.
The RGB lights shine bright and make using this keyboard a great experience.
Minor gripe: the switches are still a bit scratchy even after the factory lubing.
Same goes for the stabilizers, they need more fine tuning. Nothing a few minutes of thinkering can't fix though.
The USB connection would have been better placed on the left side instead of in the center.
Espcially if you want to used a custom coiled cable
On a personnal note, i asked for the regular black keycaps, but i received the white ones.
This is not a deal breaker, mistakes can happen but this is to be noted.
The keyboard itself is great. The switches are awesome; they sound and feel amazing to type on.
As for the QC issues that I had;
1) There is a minor flaw in the body that I noticed on one of the edges;
2) There is a persistent rattling noise that I think is a loose screw;
3) One of the keys on the stabilizers is a bit squeaky;
4) USB-C port is quite stiff so be wary with the cable when charging or using it in wired mode.
Overall, great keyboard. I knocked the one star off mostly for the low tier customer service (I got this through Kickstarter) in combination with the minor flaws/oversights.
I really like this keyboard a lot! The look is awesome and comes with great accessories as well. The switches that comes with it unfortunately is not to my liking as it is linear but they're great maybe slightly overlubed. The stabilizers on this keyboard are also really good.
The one flaw I have with this keyboard is that the switches are north facing which interferes with cherry profile keycaps. For the price I think it hits everything right except for the switches being north facing.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Make a south facing switch pcb for the next iteration or give existing customers an option to switch theirs out with one. Other than that, I really like this keyboard. Would've been 5 star if it weren't for that one flaw
The communication with shipping was a little worrisome but once you get the tracking number everything should be smooth sailing.
